1. General betting conditions
By opening an account, accessing a betting service or placing a bet with Casino Lab, you confirm that you have read and understood these rules. You also agree to follow the general Terms and Conditions and any specific rules displayed for the relevant product, event, game or market. If there is a difference between a general rule and a clearly displayed specific rule, the specific rule may apply to that market or product.
Review contents
You are responsible for checking that betting is lawful for you in the place where you are located. You must be of the legal gambling age that applies to you and must not use the service if online gambling is prohibited or restricted in your jurisdiction. Casino Lab may apply location, identity, age or eligibility checks before allowing an account to be used or a wager to be placed.
Only one personal account should be used by each customer unless Casino Lab has expressly authorised otherwise. An account must be registered in the customer's own name, and the account holder remains responsible for activity carried out through their login details. You must keep your password, authentication information and devices secure and tell Casino Lab promptly if you believe that your account has been accessed without permission.
- You must provide information that is accurate, complete and current.
- You must not place bets for another person or allow another person to use your account.
- You must not use the service for unlawful activity, fraud, money laundering or any other prohibited purpose.
- You must not attempt to interfere with the website, betting platform, payment systems or technical operation of the service.
- You should review the stake, selection, odds and any other details before confirming a bet.
Casino Lab may refuse, restrict, suspend or cancel access where this is reasonably necessary for security, compliance, responsible gambling, technical or operational reasons. Any action taken will be handled in accordance with the applicable terms, laws and regulatory requirements.
2. Placing and accepting bets
Bet confirmation
A bet is normally requested by selecting an available market or game, entering a stake and confirming the transaction through the betting interface. A selection shown in a bet slip is not necessarily accepted until the transaction has been processed and a confirmation is displayed. You should keep a record of the confirmation or reference shown for your bet.
Bets can generally only be placed using funds that are available in your account and through payment methods or balances accepted by Casino Lab. A bet may be rejected if there are insufficient funds, an account restriction, a failed payment, a technical issue, a closed market or another valid reason. An attempt to submit a bet does not guarantee acceptance.
Odds, prices and stake details
The odds, prices, lines, handicaps, limits and other terms shown on the platform may change before a bet is accepted. Where the service displays a price change or confirmation request, you may be asked to accept the updated details before the bet proceeds. The odds and stake that apply to an accepted bet are those recorded in the final confirmation, subject to these rules and any applicable market-specific terms.
A bet cannot normally be changed or withdrawn after acceptance unless the platform provides a specific feature that allows this or Casino Lab agrees otherwise. If a cash-out or similar feature is offered, its availability, value and conditions may change and are not guaranteed. A request to use such a feature is only effective when it has been confirmed by the system.
- Check the event, game, selection and market type.
- Check the displayed odds or price, stake and potential return before confirming.
- Make sure the account and payment details are correct.
- Wait for a confirmation that the bet has been accepted.
- Keep the bet record and review the settlement after the relevant result is final.
Where a bet is submitted more than once because of a delay, refresh, connection problem or other interruption, each accepted transaction may be treated as a separate bet. Customers should check their account history before submitting a further transaction.
3. Results, settlement and cancelled markets
How results are determined
Bets are settled using the official result or result source selected for the relevant market. The result may be based on the final score, finishing position, official statistics, published game outcome or another objective result specified in the market information. Protests, appeals, later amendments or unofficial reports do not normally change a settlement unless the applicable rules state otherwise.
Customers should check the rules attached to each market because the meaning of terms such as match result, winner, total, margin, first scorer, place, handicap or special proposition can vary. A market may have its own requirements about playing time, postponed events, qualifying stages, dead heats, abandoned events or the use of substitutes.
Postponed, abandoned or changed events
If an event is postponed, abandoned, rescheduled, shortened or materially changed, the affected bets will be settled according to the specific rules for that market. Some bets may remain valid if the required conditions are met, while other bets may be declared void. A void bet is generally removed from the relevant calculation and the stake is returned, subject to any applicable combination or product rules.
For games or events that are interrupted, the settlement approach may depend on whether a result can be determined fairly and whether the market's stated conditions have been satisfied. Casino Lab may wait for an official result before settling a market. Delays in settlement do not by themselves mean that a bet has been lost or cancelled.
Errors and irregularities
Despite reasonable care, the platform may occasionally display an obvious error, including an incorrect price, selection, result, settlement, balance or market description. If an obvious error affects a bet, Casino Lab may correct the error and settle the bet using the accurate price or terms that should reasonably have applied. Where correction is not practical, the affected bet may be voided.
Casino Lab may review bets where there is suspected fraud, collusion, manipulation, misuse of a promotion, technical interference or another breach of the applicable rules. Any review or adjustment will be made in accordance with the relevant terms and legal obligations. You should not rely on a visible balance or provisional settlement until the transaction has been finally reviewed and confirmed.
4. Payments, disputes and responsible betting
Balances and payments
Deposits, withdrawals, winnings and returned stakes are subject to the payment rules, verification requirements and account conditions applying to the service. Casino Lab may need to confirm your identity, source of funds, payment ownership or other information before processing certain transactions. A payment may be delayed or refused where information is incomplete, a payment method is not supported, a transaction needs review or a legal or security requirement applies.
You should only use a payment method that belongs to you or that you are authorised to use. Casino Lab may return funds to the original payment method, request an alternative method or take another permitted step where this is required for security, compliance or payment processing. Any applicable fees, currency conversion or third-party charges should be checked before completing a transaction.
Questions and disputes
If you believe that a bet has been accepted, displayed or settled incorrectly, review the bet record first and raise the matter through the available Casino Lab support channel. Include the relevant account information, bet reference, event or market, date and a clear description of the issue. Do not send passwords or complete payment details in a support request.
A review may require information from the betting platform, official result sources, payment providers or technical records. Casino Lab may wait for an event to be officially resolved before completing an investigation. The outcome will be based on these rules, the market information, the recorded transaction and any applicable legal or regulatory requirements.
Responsible gambling
Betting should be treated as entertainment, not as a way to make money or recover losses. Set a budget before you play, decide how much time you can spend and never wager money needed for essentials. Do not chase losses, borrow money to bet or place bets when you are upset, tired or under the influence of alcohol or other substances.
- Use available deposit, spending, loss or session controls where offered.
- Take regular breaks and keep track of your betting activity.
- Consider a temporary break or account restriction if betting is becoming difficult to control.
- Speak with a qualified support service, counsellor or health professional if gambling is causing concern.
- Use the Responsible Gambling information on the Casino Lab website for further guidance and available account options.
These Betting Rules are intended to explain general betting practices and do not replace the full Terms and Conditions or any market-specific rules. Casino Lab may update its rules when required for legal, regulatory, technical or operational reasons. The version displayed on the website at the relevant time will apply, subject to any rights that cannot be excluded under Australian law.
